Virtual Airway Skill Trainer (VAST) – Cricothyroidotomy (CCT) and Endotracheal Intubation (ETI)
A 3D virtual simulator for training surgeons to perform the cricothyroidotomy (shown below) and endotracheal intubation.

Virtual Endoluminal Surgical Simulator (VESS)
This project aims to train surgeons in to perform submucosal dissection of a tumor within a colon. Various steps of the operation were developed including camera navigation, marking, and dissecting.

Electrosurgery is now a very common method for performing a variety of surgical operations. However, it also poses various safety concerns. This project aims to teach safe practices in using electrosurgical tools.
